Sawyer Digital Image Set- Perfect for Friendship Scrapbook Pages
Close To My Heart (CTMH) now has digital art sets for some of their paper collections and here is the newest one Sawyer. Sawyer is a fun, colorful and playful collection all about friendship. I can’t get enough of this rainbow!
The CTMH digital art sets can be used with any cutting machine that uses the SVG format. I’m a Cricut user so I’ll be using my Maker 3 to create the double page layout. The layout is already designed for you, just choose your paper colors and start cutting.
Purchase the Sawyer Collection and open Cricut Design Space. Click new project and in the new project, click upload. Upload the scrapbook layout to Design Space. Each digital image has to be uploaded one at a time. Click the best friends layout and add to canvas.
The layout is sized as a 12×12 double page layout so nothing has to be resized if you are making a 12×12 layout. Since these are digital images, you can edit the sizes and colors to fit your project.

Light Blue Grip Mat
CTMH Card Stock- 2 sheets of Charcoal, wild berry, flamingo, lagoon, lemonade, mink, white daisy, eggplant, wisteria
Best Friend Scrapbook Layout
To begin hide the dark turquoise base image because it doesn’t need to be cut. The colors shown in Design Space match the Sawyer coordinating card stock, but you can choose to use any colors you have.
The CTMH card stock is my favorite to use with my Cricut machine because it cuts so smooth and easily. My biggest tip is to add more pressure to the cut with medium card stock because the paper is thicker.
Follow along and cut the design. Glue all the pieces together before starting to put the page together. The charcoal card stock is the base for the double page layout.
Honestly, this rainbow gave me a horrible time. I had to actually cut it twice. Never before have I used painters tape in scrapbooking, but I did when I made this rainbow.
The painters tape did work to get the pieces to stay in place then I glued small, small parts at a time. The colors in the rainbow are eggplant, pixie, turquoise and lemonade.
Add the fluffy circles at the bottom of the rainbow with the best friend sentiment with 3D foam dots.
On the 2nd page, add the white scalloped edge and the photo mats. Then using 3d foam dots add on “friends” to complete ether best friends scrapbook page.
Best friends are special and this scrapbook layout is just as special as your friendship with this beautiful rainbow and all the colors. The Cricut does most of the work and once you get past the rainbow, it’s really quick to put together. It’s the perfect double page layout for any friends scrapbook album.
