Do you have a favorite season? I’m a fall girl all the way! I love the colors of the leaves, the crisp air and natures reminder that change is good. I’m also a fan of Halloween, all things pumpkin spice (except for pie) and cool weather clothes. Close To My Heart has a fall collection that has all the elements of fall from sweater weather to pumpkins to Thanksgiving. It has you covered! Today I’m creating a simple and easy fall scrapbook layout. I’m going back to the basics of how using basic shapes can make an amazing layout.
Close To My Heart (CTMH) not only sells wonderful paper, stamps, die cuts, workshop kits and more, but also has free guides of scrapbook layouts for you with measurements. No purchase needed, but I highly recommend trying out their scrapbook paper and supplies. It’s the best! CTMH is there to support you as you create your scrapbook of memories.
I love to keep these guides and come back to them and use them. Sometimes I follow exactly and sometimes, I use it for inspiration.

Easy Fall Scrapbook Layout
This layout is very simple and uses squares and rectangles to make a design with the title in the center. The trickiest part is making it 1 inch all the way around so the adorable “sweater weather” paper shows (that’s what I nicknamed this paper). If you love fall like me, make sure to check out my easy fall leaves scrapbook page.
Cutting the Card Stock for the Fall Scrapbook Page
So grab your paper trimmer, paper and glue to get started! The cuts are all really simple and you will have a new scrapbook page in under 20 minutes.
Cut the paprika card stock into the sizes below.
Next using the paper trimmer, cut the almond paper. Funny not funny story, I didn’t realized I had a paper cut until after the fact so a little bit of blood ended up on my almond card stock. It was my last sheet and the photo will cover it. I’m so glad it didn’t get on my other scrapbook paper. It could have been a disaster.
The sapphire blue card stock is next in the sizes below.
Last cut will be the picture my life card cut into 2 pieces.
Putting the Fall Page Together
The base paper will be the “sweater weather” page. It’s picture perfect fall on a paper.
To start the page begin with the first column and start at the bottom. Measure 1 inch from the side and the bottom. Then adhere the paprika rectangle in place.
Next adhere the top paprika square in place also 1 inch from the top and the size. Last step is to add in the middle piece that is the rectangle piece of the picture my life card.
Do the last column next by following the same steps above. Start with the paprika square at the bottom, do the picture my life journaling card at the top and add in the center almond rectangle. Just remember to do the 1 inch from the bottom, top and sides.
Last step for the page layout is to add the middle column of squares and rectangles in between the columns already there.
Now it’s time to decorate for autumn with these easy ideas. This page is decorated with stickers form the Pumpkin Spice Sticker Sheet. I used the Happy Autumn Days as the page title in the center of the page and created my own scrapbook card. On the scrapbook card, I added the super cute gourds and circle sticker with 3D foam tape to give it some depth. Next I added white journal strips to the top picture my life card and a pumpkin sticker.
This autumn days scrapbook layout is the perfect combination of fall colors and are perfect for all types of fall fun! It will look great with pumpkins, colorful leaves or family photos of all kinds.
