Let’s talk scrapbook page titles. Each page needs a title to sweeten that memory in the photo or to give more meaning to the photo or the moment. The page title just brings it all together. Your Cricut machine can help make all kinds of titles for you. I’m going to share the different ways you can make one of kind scrapbook titles with Cricut.
Scrapbook Page Title Ideas
Coming up with a page titles sometimes can seem like a struggle. I know sometimes I feel like a broken record of ideas, but a title is something every good scrapbook page needs. Did you know that there are 5 Things Every Scrapbook Page Needs, you can find out what they and start using them.
Each Scrapbook page title should be:
- Short and Sweet- keep it short and to the point – you don’t want the title overwhelming the page
- Picture Related- keep it in line with the theme of the pictures
- Emotional- a page title should make you smile (happy or sad) and your heart flutter
When making a memorable scrapbook page title remember it should be short, simple, photo related and trigger an emotion. Just remember these simple guidelines when making your titles with your Cricut.
The big question of the day is “How Do you make a scrapbook title on Cricut?” Well there is actually a few ways that you can do that for different looks and designs. As for Cricut Design Space, here is a full step by step guide on how to create a scrapbook page.
Ideas of How To Make Scrapbook Titles with Cricut
#1: Card Stock Images
Using card stock and an image from Cricut Design Space you can create a simple and short title for your page.
Here is an egg hunt page made with card stock from the Daisy Meadows Collection.
#2: Offset Scrapbook Page Titles with Text
Using card stock or a combination of card stock and vinyl, you can create an offset of your text that you type in. Offset creates a larger or smaller layer of your design.
I used it for this raking leaves scrapbook page, which is card stock on card stock.
#3: Text Drawing Feature with Cricut
On a tag or shape, you can use the Cricut machine to write out the scrapbook title. A tag shape is perfect for happy birthday or greetings for a holiday. Also you can attach any writing in Cricut Design Space to a shape. Cricut also has some quotes now that are specifically for the drawing feature. You can also write directly on the scrapbook page too. You will need all the fun colored pens to make colorful page tiles on your layout.
#4: Cut a Quote in Vinyl
Cricut Design Space has tons of quotes and sayings that make perfect scrapbook page titles. I find it easiest to cut these in vinyl and put them either directly on the scrapbook layout or to put them on a shape. Then add the shape to the scrapbook page. Titles in vinyl are perfect because no glue is needed.

#5: Print and Cut Feature with Cricut
I have had a Cricut for years, but we just bought a printer during the pandemic. I finally used print and cut and I’m loving it. Again Cricut has lots of print and cut images to use, but this makes it super easy to use other images too. Just upload them to Design Space and choose print and cut. That’s all you have to do it (it’s so easy). For example my daughter is having a My Little Pony birthday party and I can make a page title with the ponies for her birthday page. Cute, easy and it will always make me remember when she was obsessed with Twilight and Pinky Pie.
Cricut Design Space has so many options it can be overwhelming when you are searching for an image or title. At times that is just what I need. Other Times I like to be prepared and have my titles already chosen.
Places for Inspiration for Scrapbook Page Titles
Magazines
Cards
Books
TV Shows
Songs
Pinterest
I’ve used almost all of these places to be inspired, but songs usually influence me the most. Lately though I’ve noticed how the kids cartoon shows have really great tiles too. For example the My Little Ponies episode today was Pie vs Pie and I thought how cute for Thanksgiving. It’s short, sweet, would be perfect for pie pictures and will make you remember exactly how that pie tasted.
Keep your eyes and ears open for scrapbook page titles no matter where you are. Take a photo with your phone, keep a scrapbook page title journal or make voice memos of things that inspire you. You just never know when that idea will work perfectly in your scrapbook.
